Bio

Hailing from the northern reaches of New York, Doc Yukon has carved out a niche for themselves in the local music scene. This quartet, established in the autumn of 2016, has earned a sterling reputation for their renditions of iconic tracks spanning a multitude of genres.

The band's unique composition is a testament to their musical journey. The ensemble was born out of a fusion of two distinct lineups - the guitarists from Moonshiner, Andy Wendt and Brian Beyer, joined forces with the rhythm section of Wagner's Agenda, featuring Mark Getman on drums and Andrew Willis on bass. This amalgamation of talent has resulted in a rich, layered sound that belies their four-member setup. Each member not only masters their instrument but also shares the responsibility of lead vocals and harmonies, adding to the depth and dynamism of their performances.

What sets Doc Yukon apart is their eclectic repertoire. Their musical range is impressive, covering genres from rock to pop to country. They have been known to perform hits from a diverse array of artists, including Queen, Journey, Rush, Lizzo, Lady Gaga, Luke Bryan, Shania Twain, and Johnny Cash, among others. As the saying goes, “if they aren't playing something you like, stick around, they'll get to it”.

Doc Yukon's performances are not confined to any season or venue. They can be found gracing stages at bars, clubs, weddings, and festivals throughout the north country, all year round. Whether it's a public gig or a private event, Doc Yukon's presence guarantees a memorable musical experience.
